Liesel Orend's Open Studio on the New Mexico Fiber Arts Trails

At Earth Arts, experience the natural dyeing cycle in its entirety, from a garden replete with Hopi sunflowers, madder, and indigo, to stunning tapestries woven in Liesel Orend's sun-drenched studio. The walls of her dye workshop glow with a dazzling array of gem tones that she achieves through the alchemy of natural dyeing. Take home a few hanks of hand-dyed New Mexico Churro yarn or dye plant seeds for your own project, or expand your creativity in one of Orend's natural dye workshops.
